I just got home from my appointment with the buyer’s advocate! It was a five-hour round trip including the appointment, and it was the absolute highlight of my year. I am finally making moves towards owning my own house – my dream house, for that matter.
The buyer’s advocate specialising in Elsternwick properties was the most professional and knowledgeable person I had ever met. I couldn’t believe how well she knew the area. I mean, I was expecting her to have a really good idea of the properties available, but she knew so much more than I was expecting. She knew the history of Elsternwick. She knew everything about everything, and there was no question she was unable to answer. To put it simply, I was blown away by the sheer professionalism of her and the company at large. I can’t wait to work with her in the near future.
During our discussion, she made it very clear that buying a property in this landscape is no easy task. She was understandably hedging my expectations but promised to deliver in every way possible. She just wanted me to be emotionally prepared for a difficult (albeit facilitated and comfortable) property journey. It would be pretty much impossible to do this without the help of Melbourne’s most established property advocates. I am so thankful that I finally got to have my appointment with them. I would have been in absolute strife if I was attempting to do this all alone.
I can’t wait to embark on this property journey. I truly feel like an adult now which is bizarre but also exciting. I’m going it alone in the world, but thankfully I am going to have the best property advocate by my side. I know she will make the journey as smooth as possible and although there may be bumps along the way, she’s going to be there to help.
